How New Englanders Fared At The Indy Road Course Over The Weekend

It was a good day Saturday for Austin Cindric who won the Xfinity Series race at the IMS road course.  It also was a bad day for Brett Moffit who was steering the Chris Our entry as he broke an axle on his mount and placed 31st.  Cape Cod’s Chris Our is a building contractor and resides in Harwich, MA.

In Sunday’s Cup race at the Brickyard’s road course A J Almendinger won the chaotic crash filled race.  Corey LaJoie finished 16th.  LaJoie is the son of two-time NASCAR Xfinity Series Champion Randy LaJoie who calls Norwalk, CT home. Joey Logano of Middletown, CT was 34th due to being involved in that big crash just four laps from the finish. Ryan Preece of Berlin, CT was also     among the casualties placing 36th along with Anthony Alfredo of Ridgefield, CT suffered a similar fate ending up 38th.
