SEEKONK, Mass. — Seekonk Speedway and Tri Track Open Modified Series officials announced on Wednesday night a postponement, and rescheduled date of Wednesday, August 25, for Speed51.TV Modified Madness. Due to an electrical outage due to a power line down in the Seekonk area — and severe lightning in the area — officials had no choice but to move the race in the best interest of safety for all involved.

Stafford Speedway July 2 Racing Event Postponed to July 16

(Stafford Springs, CT)—Stafford Speedway has postponed its Midstate Site Development Street Stock 30 Weekly Racing event scheduled for Friday, July 2 due to forecasted rain. The entire race program, as well as the fireworks that were scheduled, will all move to Friday, July 16. Any tickets sold for the July 2 event will be honored on July 16. The Kids Night event with the Big Wheel race originally scheduled for July 16 will move to July 30.

Sunoco Modified Feature Removed from July 7 Thompson Event Due to Tire Shortage

Waterbury, VT and Naples, ME — American-Canadian Tour (ACT) and Pro All Stars Series (PASS) officials announced today that they have made the difficult decision to remove the standalone Sunoco Modified feature from the July 7 program at Connecticut’s Thompson Speedway Motorsports Park. The decision is the result of an SK Modified® tire shortage, which has left an extremely limited number of tires available for teams in the region.
