The fastest full-bodied cars in New England will shine brighter than ever before during the 2021 season and beyond. Speed51 and the Pro All Stars Series (PASS) have entered a multi-year agreement to broadcast grassroots racing events live on Speed51.TV.
With its roots in the state of Maine, PASS is recognized as one of the most popular Late Model touring series across the Eastern Seaboard. Beginning with this weekend’s Easter Bunny 150s, the series will host 21 events in 2021.
“The addition of PASS and the Oxford 250 to the Speed51.TV platform is a huge development for short track racers and fans,” said Speed51 Director of Production Alan Dietz. “Not only will they be able to see one grassroots racing’s premier divisions from beginning to end, but they will also be able to follow their favorite drivers for years to come on some of short track racing’s most iconic tracks. Add to that, Tour-Type Modified racing at Loudon and a Wednesday night Summer series at Thompson, not to mention the Icebreaker and rebirth of the Thompson 300. I’m very proud of this partnership between Speed51 and the Mayberry family.”
For the first time, many PASS Super Late Model races will be available to Speed51.TV monthly and yearly subscribers. Additionally, five weekly Super Late Model races at Oxford Plains Speedway, including the Oxford 250 Qualifier on July 31, will be available to subscribers.
A handful of marquee events, including the Northeast Classic on April 17 and Oxford 250 on August 28-29, will be available as pay-per-view broadcasts. More information on the pay-per-view broadcasts will be announced prior to each event.
The agreement between PASS and Speed51.TV will also see all six events at Thompson Speedway Motorsports Park streamed live via pay-per-view broadcasts, including the season-opening Icebreaker on April 10-11 and the highly anticipated return of the Thompson 300 on October 9-10. Every race of the new Outlaw Open Modified Series will also be streamed live.
The addition of PASS, Oxford Plains Speedway and Thompson Speedway Motorsports Park to the Speed51.TV broadcast schedule bolsters a lineup that includes many of the biggest short track racing events in the country.
In addition to gaining access to live broadcasts, subscribers also gain access to race highlights, recaps and other exclusive video content.
Launched last August, Speed51.TV offers race fans a convenient way to watch grassroots racing on their favorite devices including Apple TV, Roku, Amazon Fire TV, iOS and Android.
