From the Cockpit:

Brandon Jones: ”I am very excited to get back to Daytona this weekend and kick off the 2021 race season! We are coming off my best year and our 19 Menards team has been preparing this whole off season. Over the last few months Jeff (Meendering) and I have sat down and reviewed last year’s notes and discussed what we can do better as a team. I feel very confident that we will be even stronger this year and we will be bringing great Supras to the track.  We have been taking advantage of the TRD simulator, reviewing old notes, running go karts, working with my teammates and Blake Koch. I have also been making sure my physical and mental ability are at their highest potential.  Working in the gym five to seven days a week and doing exercises for hand-eye coordination are just a few things I have been amping up to succeed.  My mindset this year is going above and beyond and making sure I am doing things other competitors are not.  With Daytona coming up, I have been looking closely at previous notes and tapes that really grasp on drafting techniques. It’s really exciting to have Menards and Jeld-Wen back on board, they are a huge part of this team.  As a team we are extremely focused on starting Daytona strong and challenging for the championship.”
