 		  It’s Friday out there… and jeans day for the Lexington KY campus of Ashland, Inc., the parent company of Valvoline. This week, we received a recorded message from the Daytona 500 winner, Matt Kenseth himself, letting us know he’d won, and since he runs Valvoline, we would get a jeans day. I thought it was kind of cool for him to record a message for us, even though it’s all part of the sponsorship deal, I’m sure.

We have all the latest news you could hope for from the world of stock car racing.

NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Daytona 500Huh! I thought it was the Daytona 500, not the Daytona 380! Nevertheless, congrats to Jack Roush, Matt Kenseth, and the #17 team on their victory. He only led one lap, but it was the right one.

 		  I did get to see the Duels via DVR last night (thanks to Heather for the IM updates during the 1st Duel!). There was some good racing there, along with some bonehead driving. I can’t wait for Sunday.

We have full results from both Daytona Duels, and the starting lineups for the Daytona 500 Sprint Cup race, and the NextEra Energy Resources 250 Camping World Truck Series race (tonight) at Daytona International Speedway…
