Book Review: The Indianapolis 500: A Century of Excitement

I grew up watching Indy racing. It was a family tradition to watch the Indianapolis 500.

So when the opportunity came to review this book I jumped at the chance.

“The Indianapolis 500: A Century of Excitement”, by Ralph Kramer is a lovely coffee table book. Kramer does an excellent job of telling the history of the Indianapolis 500 broken down by decades.

TV Times: Joe Gibbs Racing Sweeps Richmond

Lou Modestino's TV TimesIn Richmond’s Cup Race it was Kyle Busch winning with Denny Hamlin doing the same thing a day earlier in the Nationwide event. There are some that felt that JR’s time is about to come, however, the best could do was 19th. We hope that he finally gets the “monkey off his back”, as do his followers in the Earnhardt Nation.

Lou Modestino's TV TimesTwo road course veterans won at The Glen. And that’s no big surprise given that several teams hired road racing specialists for this race. Juan Pablo Montoya won the Cup race and Marcos Ambrose took the Nationwide race a day earlier.
