The saga of NASCAR versus Jeremy Mayfield continues on with no end in sight. We have seen various reports that tell of Mayfield selling his Sprint Cup Team, his hair sample may be tested to determine if he’s using illegal drugs and NASCAR won an appeal to reinstate his suspension from racing. All this isn’t doing either side any good and both should sit down and work out a mutually acceptable deal. But, hoping that this comes to a “merciful end” may be asking too much.
