Greg Biffle’s win at Dover weekend before last made it two wins in a row for the driver from the northwest… Washington state, to be precise.
It also appears that Greg could be a serious contender for the Chase To The Sprint Cup Championship.
If Biffle continues his streak he could very well help to increase fan interest and help spike up NASCAR’s sagging TV ratings. |

NASCAR does not have a presence yet in the US northwest. But a contending Greg Biffle would do a lot for NASCAR in that part of the country. Also it would help Ford because he drives one of those cars in the Jack Roush stable.

KERNERSVILLE, N.C. (September 29, 2008) – Ricky Carmichael, the most successful motocross racer in history, will attempt to make his Auto Racing Club of America (ARCA) debut this Friday, October 3 in the ARCA RE/MAX 250 race at Talladega (Ala.) Superspeedway. Carmichael, 28, of Tallahassee, Fla., will be driving the Kevin Harvick Inc. (KHI) No. 33 Chevrolet. It marks his first start for the KHI organization. Carmichael and the team completed a successful two-day test in mid-September at the 2.66-mile superspeedway.

I’m sorry I missed the end of the Kansas Sprint Cup race… sounds like it was a good one! We have results from all the weekend’s racing, including Sprint Cup, Nationwide Series, a 2008 champion crowned in the NASCAR Canadian Tire Series, ARCA RE/MAX, and news that USAR is losing their series sponsor, right here in today’s Stock Car Gazette.
