We’re coming up on a full weekend of racing action. All 3 NASCAR divisions (Sprint Cup, Nationwide, and Craftsman Truck Series) will be racing in the Indianapolis area, and (of course) Kyle Busch is going to run in all three. He might as well, since he’s on a hot streak this season.

NASCAR tightened the screws down (and the horsepower) on the Toyota Nationwide Series teams yesterday. More on that inside this edition.

Brickyard Blast

Tony Stewart was fined $25,000 and docked 25 points by NASCAR at last year’s Brickyard for cursing during his television interview after his win at Indianapolis Motor Speedway.  

Stewart, who had just scored his second victory in three years at his hometown race track, was soaking up the adoration from the throng of orange-clad fans when he dedicated the win to them.
