Hopefully you survived your post-holiday Monday.

For you “Top Gear” fans, the new season starts next Monday, July 14, at 8:00 PM eastern time on the BBC America channel (135 for you Dish Network subscribers). The segment of last night’s episode where the Hamster blows up the Gee Whiz is one of my favorites, with the Bluebird space shuttle and camper racing ranking up there, too.
