I found some YouTube video of the big crash in Saturday’s Aaron’s 312 Nationwide Series race… I didn’t get to see it live myself so I thought others might like to see this, too …
I don’t know how anyone could NOT like the racing from Talladega, other than just that your driver didn’t win.
I’ve had computer problems this AM so I apologize for the partial Stock Car Gazette… did what I could, though.
Tony Stewart won from the pole in the NASCAR Nationwide series Aarons 312 at the Talladega Superspeedway. The win marked the first time in his career that Stewart has won at the Alabama facility.
I’m glad to see the weekend approaching. Sprint Cup and Nationwide are racing at Talladega this weekend, and the Craftsman Trucks are at Kansas (Point of No Return?… some of you near my age might get that). ARCA RE/MAX is off, but the USAR Hooter’s Pro Cup series is racing at Concord.

Two-time Sprint Cup champion Tony Stewart has driven for Joe Gibbs Racing his entire stock car career and is slated to through at least 2009. If there is any truth to rumors that have surfaced late this week, this could change.
Inside sources have told several media outlets that discussions are under way to facilitate a move that would see Tony Stewart leave Gibbs, possibly before the end of his contract, to drive a Chevy for Hass-CNC Racing. Considering the wide difference in the competitive level of the two organizations, this move would be seen as a major coup if it were to happen.

Mooresville, N.C. (April 23, 2008) - With the hopes of competing in the 2008 O’Reilly Auto Parts 250 at Kansas Speedway, Michelle Theriault has aligned with Rick Markle Racing for the April 26th Craftsman Truck Series race.
The 22-year old Theriault be qualifying the number 73 truck for the same team that has entered Jennifer Jo Cobb in the number 74 truck.
