Driving for Roush Racing, Kenseth survived two late race restarts and a dominant performance by Kyle Busch.
Busch’s performance left the remainder battling for second until a tire failure on lap 172 put him in the wall setting up a scramble for the checkered flag.
Fox’s broadcast of that Sunday’s UAW-Dodge 400 NASCAR Sprint Cup race at Las Vegas Motor Speedway earned an overnight Nielsen Media Research rating of 6.2 and a 12 market share, Street & Smith’s Sports Business Daily reports. The rating is 12.7 percent higher than the 5.5 Fox earned overnight for the Las Vegas race in 2007.
