NASCAR Preseason Thunder Day 5: Being at Daytona not enough for Scott Lynch

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Scott Lynch fully admits he’s come a long way from the potato fields in Idaho.

“To be honest, it’s a pleasure just to be here,” said the driver of the No. 29 Westward Racing Enterprise from Burley, Idaho. “Growing up on the west coast in a small town in Idaho and coming and actually saying you’ve been here at Daytona is a great experience in itself.”

That being said, Lynch isn’t so overwhelmed by “The World Center of Racing” that he can’t or won’t focus on his task at hand.
