Earlier this week I read an article quoting Brian France, after he appeared at the Reuters Media Summit in New York last Tuesday.

He actually inferred that the 13% downturn in ratings was partially Dale Earnhardt Jr.’s fault.

Racing Legends to Unveil First OSRCT Car at PRI

Mooresville, NC (November 29, 2007) – The highly anticipated Old School Racing Champion Tour (OSRCT) series that is set to debut in May of 2008 will be well represented at the 20th annual Performance Racing Industry (PRI) trade show in Orlando, Florida December 6-8, 2007.

On Thursday December 6, 2007 at 11:00 A.M., the OSRCT and a few NASCAR greats will unveil the first official OSRCT car. This unveiling will also be the official announcement of the Old School Racing Champion’s Tour into the racing world.

Hendrick Gang Heads To New York To Pick Up NASCAR Loot

The annual migration of the 3,500-pound NASCAR racecars is underway as the top teams head from Charlotte to New York to collect the bounty for their accomplishments during the racing season. The championship awards, along with some giant checks, will be handed out Friday night to close a flurry of stockcar activity in the Big Apple this week.

Just how those NASCAR high-horse powered racing machines pass the New York emission test is unknown. The top-ten drivers in the point standings rev their engines on Times Square Wednesday morning when they make the last 1.5-mile lap of the 2007 season to celebrate.
