First Road Course Event For New Cup Race Cars

The Nextel Cup drivers are heading West to the wine country of California to wed their new racing machines to the twists and turns of Infineon Raceway. The road course racing complex used to be called Sears Point Raceway, but in 2002 owner Bruton Smith sold the name to the computer technology company.

TV Times - NASCAR Ratings Still Top F1/IRL Combined

The cable TV Ratings for the Pocono 500 at Pocono Raceway was the fourth highest rated cable program that day with a 3.0 rating, 3,392,000 households and 4,968,000 viewers on TNT according to Zapit.com.
