Prayers Requested… Shootings at Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, VA

by Mike Irwin ~ April 16th, 2007 @ 1:23 pm

I was checking the web at lunch, and I read about the horrible events that happened Monday morning at Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, VA.

At least 32 are reported dead after a gunman opened fire in a dorm and a classroom.

Fox News is reporting that there was only one gunman, who is dead, but they are not saying if the shooter was killed by law enforcement officials or took his own life. Update: apparently the shooter took his own life. He was a VT student named Cho Seung-Hui (pronounced Choh Suhng-whee) of South Korea (Yahoo News).

Please keep the families of those involved in this tragedy in your prayers.
