DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Daytona 500 champions Matt Kenseth, Ryan Newman, Kevin Harvick, Jeff Gordon and Dale Earnhardt Jr. are among the drivers that will appear at NASCAR Preseason Thunder Fan Fests at historic Daytona International Speedway on Friday, Jan. 15 and Saturday, Jan. 16.
Race fans can get their sneak peek of Speedweeks 2010 with numerous activities with their favorite drivers from the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series, Nationwide Series and Camping World Truck Series in the Sprint FANZONE located in the heart of the “World Center of Racing.”

5…..Record setting number of different drivers who came into the final race of the 2008 ARCA RE/MAX Series at Toledo Speedway with a chance to win the championship.

6…..Number of race wins by Justin Allgaier, who broke Frank Kimmel’s streak of eight consecutive (nine overall) titles by earning the 2008 ARCA RE/MAX Series Championship. Allgaier posted race wins on a variety of tracks on the diverse ARCA RE/MAX Series tour, including Salem, Cayuga, Pocono, New Jersey Motorsports Park, Talladega and Toledo. Six is also the number of SunTrust Rookie of the Year contenders who finished in the top-10 in the final point standings this season.

Officials of the ARCA RE/MAX Series and SPEED released the 2009 SPEED TV schedule for the ARCA RE/MAX Series to include 10 events, eight of which will be live, and the remaining two will be same-day-delayed. The announcement is part of an agreement under which SPEED TV will air a minimum of 10 ARCA RE/MAX Series events each season through 2011.

“SPEED viewers really connect with the ARCA RE/MAX Series,” said SPEED President Hunter Nickell. “There is a true grassroots feel … a volatile mix of up-and-coming talent and old-school veterans that delivers consistent viewership for the network. We look forward to the 2009 season and many more years of ARCA racing on SPEED.”

KERNERSVILLE, N.C. (September 29, 2008) – Ricky Carmichael, the most successful motocross racer in history, will attempt to make his Auto Racing Club of America (ARCA) debut this Friday, October 3 in the ARCA RE/MAX 250 race at Talladega (Ala.) Superspeedway. Carmichael, 28, of Tallahassee, Fla., will be driving the Kevin Harvick Inc. (KHI) No. 33 Chevrolet. It marks his first start for the KHI organization. Carmichael and the team completed a successful two-day test in mid-September at the 2.66-mile superspeedway.
