Yesterday, the 2011 NASCAR Hall of Fame Class was announced, and the winners were David Pearson, Bobby Allison, Lee Petty, Ned Jarrett, and Bud Moore. He actually inferred that the 13% downturn in ratings was partially Dale Earnhardt Jr.’s fault. Huh? It amazes me as to all the attention placed recently on what number Dale Earnhardt Jr. is going to use in 2008. Like you, I’ve been seeing the news reports about the possibility of Petty Enterprises merging with Gillett-Evernham Motorsports (GEM) to form a four-car team for 2008. And I’ve got a message for the “King” and Kyle… don’t do it. |
