Kyle Petty and Bobby Labonte had the following to say on their teams’ 2007 season.
It may sound a little strange to say we’re happy to be 35th. But with the way this sport is right now and the importance of what it means to be in the top 35 and not have to worry about qualifying your way into the show early next year, it’s huge.

At the end of the day you can look at the numbers and it’s pretty black and white. If you finished 16, 17 or 18 in points, and you weren’t that high last season, you have improved. It’s simple logic if you are studying stats, but this sport is more about chemistry than stats. It’s about what it takes to get to the end result; what and who are the ingredients that make that happen. And that’s why I feel we have improved this season.
Bobby Labonte, on seeing more than just statistics as a measurement of the Petty Enterprises’ #43 team progress in 2007

Good quotes, no argument from me.
Great job Bobby. Nice to see the 43 in the top half of the pack.
HI,WHAT A DRIVER BOBBY IS AND THE BAD LUCK HE HAS HAD THIS YEAR IS SO DISSAPOINTING.I HOPE A BETTER “2008″ FOR BOTH OF THEM!!! HAPPY HOLIDAYS….
Gone are the days when Lee would travel everywhere and run short dirt tracks. Gone are the days when “The King” blew the doors off all the competition. Great job, considering what you are racing against and the amount of money spent by the opposition.
Great job for both Bobby and Kyle. So glad to see great driver’s back in the hunt. I know that both can get er done next year. Good luck to both and hope that you have some great time off with your families and will be looking forward to February 17th. See ya then.
