You Want Coffee With Those Donuts???by Mike Irwin ~ May 29th, 2007. Filed under: Product Reviews. |
The donuts in question are “Racing Donuts“. What is that, you ask… some sort of giant tire-sized glazed pastry? Not quite.
Thanks to the kind folks at RacingDonut.Com, I was able to try out a couple of their “Racing Donuts“, which are fake black tire streaks (known as donuts) with a little yellow streaking thrown in (to mimic that certain tire company’s bright yellow lettering), similar to the ones left by your favorite Cup or Busch driver against the fender of that guy you can’t stand, especially at Bristol.
The “donut” is a static cling decal, which can be installed in 20-30 minutes, and will stay on the car for weeks, or months. Then they can be removed and reapplied as often as desired.
I don’t have what might be considered a suitable car for stock car donuts at the moment, but, nonetheless, the Honda was volunteered to be the guinea pig for this test.
My sons and I washed the car, then cut out and applied the donuts. It took us about 45 minutes. All that is needed is water in a spray bottle and a squeegee. It is applied the same way as window tint.
I had to take my car to a body shop early last week because some lunkheads stole my car stereo and ripped up the dashboard.
When the lady was writing up the papers, she said, “Oh, are we going to fix that door, too?”, not realizing it was the Racing Donut.
A “Racing Donut” retails for $14.43, and a portion of every sale goes to the Victory Junction Gang Camp.

This is surely and eye catcher and a head turner. Are there other such eyecatchers as these? Thanks for sharing these with us.
