While the majority of the Sprint Cup stars spent the weekend at DIS for FanFest, Michael Waltrip Racing co-owners Michael Waltrip and Rob Kaufmann along with Marcos Ambrose teamed with Team AF Corse’s Rui Aguas and Niki Cadet to run a Ferrari F430 in the Dubai 24 hour over the weekend. The car was qualified P10 and was running P6 and first in class at 45 minutes through hour nine with Michael in the car when he was involved in an incident with a slower class car that damaged the Ferrari too heavily to continue, ending up 65th overall.
