Reutimann Goes Home Againby Steve Langley ~ March 24th, 2007. Filed under: Announcements. |

Michael Waltrip David Reutimann takes the checkered flag during qualifying.
His time was unfortunately not good enough for a starting spot in Sundays Food City 500, and is the 4th race in a row he has missed.
Toyota is not off to a great start.
Editor’s note (3/26/07): Actually this is the 00 car of David Reutimann, not the 55 car. Thanks to Roland (see comments below) for pointing this out.

Hmmm, I think I see the problem, Roland… that is NOT the 55 car… it’s the 00 car of David Reutimann!!
Obviously I was in such a hurry to post the picture that I didn’t even pay attention to the LARGE DOMINO’S LOGO on the hood, which would have been a LARGE NAPA LOGO if this had indeed been Waltrip!
Thanks for the correction!

Hi Mike-
Only comment I have on the Bristol race is…
As soon as we think the driver of #5 has matured..he pulls a really dumb stunt like… Jumping out of the car that that stayed on the track and brought him to the checkers, and tells the world, “I hate this car, it SUCKS!!” His opinion is his opinion, I agree, but keep a level head on kid..you are talking as a representative of your sponsors, for goodness sake. So now the pip-squeak is still the pip-squeak.
moderation - moderation - moderation…
Enjoy the week Mike..
