Holtzclaw Announces New Talk Show – Race 2 Win Radio

April 23rd, 2009 – Jeff Holtzclaw, former editor of the popular NASCAR website Race2Win.net, proudly announces his latest endeavor, Race 2 Win Radio.

Holtzclaw, along with Heather Meyer and Mike Irwin of the Stock Car Gazette, will discuss the latest happenings in the world of NASCAR and welcome some of the top names in the sport as special guests. The premiere episode of Race 2 Win Radio will debut on Thursday, April 23rd from 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm ET at www.blogtalkradio.com/race2win.

The first installment of Race 2 Win Radio will feature special guests Regan Smith, driver of the No. 78 Furniture Row Racing Chevrolet in the Sprint Cup Series, and Robert Richardson Jr., driver of the No. 23 Mahindra Tractors Chevrolet in the Nationwide Series.

After some time in the co-host’s chair, Holtzclaw moves into the hosting role for this new talk show. “I am pretty excited about this new deal that we have going on,” said Holtzclaw. “Even though I will have a yellow stripe on my bumper as I take on the role of host for the first time, I feel that I have learned quite a bit about talk radio during my time as a co-host, and I feel that I can do an adequate job.”

Race 2 Win Radio will feature a “Keys to Winning” segment each week with Mike Calinoff, spotter for NASCAR Sprint Cup driver and 2009 Daytona 500 champion Matt Kenseth. Calinoff will guide the listeners around the track each week with a view from the spotter’s stand and tell them exactly what it will take to visit victory lane at the given venue.

“I couldn’t be happier to land the talent that we have for this new show,” said Holtzclaw. “When you add someone like Mike Calinoff to a panel of Heather Meyer and Mike Irwin, you know that you have a winning team.

“This deal came together at the last minute and we are in talks to take this show to a much bigger platform, but, in the mean time, we will broadcast at Blog Talk Radio and put on the best show possible.”
