This one comes from Ganassi Racing’s road race ringer, Scott Pruett, after being bumped out of the lead at the Busch Series race in Mexico City
Of all the people to take you out, your teammate… That was just no-good, low, nasty, dirty driving.
– Scott Pruett, Ganassi Racing teammate of Juan Pablo Montoya, who won the Mexico City Busch Series race as a result.

I agrea with Scott’s comments, He has a lot to learn about working with every body in racin. That kind of driving will come back to haunt him more than once. If they had not been in Mexico and he a latino, NASCAR would have punished him for rough driving. But NASCAR does what they think is best for them. That started in 1948 and has not changed over the years. But that to will come back to haunt them, greed is always greed.
Thanks for your web site , I read it daily.
Agree with Roy.The NA$CAR poster boy can do no wrong. If he was driving a Toyota the Daytona gurus would have even been happier.
Looked like the good ole days that everyone says they miss, but now they don’t like it. What’s up with that?
Good comment, Peggy! I agree.
Montoya bumps Smoke like that, it would be a good idea to leave his helmet on because it could prevent wrench fever!
C’mon guys, it’s just racin’ He didn’t do anything the Alabama Gang,
King Richard, or Dale did, back in the day. Lest we forget,in modern day, Tony, Dale Jr and a host of others have done the same thing.
It’s just racin’!
I agree with Roy about Nascar, they have highjack the racing circuits. The rest of it is just racing, like Peggy says.
Com’ on people, we watched Earnhardt, theAllisons, King Richard, Harvick, Gordon etc.,most all of the “big boys” bang, bump & shove to get to the checkers first. I remember Bristol just a few years ago, (think it was ’90 when Earnhardt moved Terry La Bonte out of the way on the last lap. The cheering was deafining as Earnhardt got another of his many dirty wins. Montoya just did what he’s been taught. Flush this one and move on.
