KERNERSVILLE N.C. (October 6, 2008) – Kevin Harvick Inc. (KHI) announced today that driver Jack Sprague has been released from the No. 2 Chevrolet Silverado. KHI co-owner Kevin Harvick will assume driving duties of the No. 2 Chevrolet for the upcoming Truck Series event at Martinsville (Va.) Speedway on October 18th. Details on the driver lineup for the remainder of the season will be announced at a later date.
“The performance of the No. 2 team was not up to either Jack or KHI’s standards,” said Kevin Harvick, co-owner of Kevin Harvick Inc. “My main goal now is to prepare the team to run for a championship in 2009.
