Richard, Mulhern is about the most famous NASCAR reporter for the last 35 years. Try searching google for Mike Mulhern NASCAR before making such an idiotic comment.

Mulhern would not know objectivity if it bit him on the nose. He has a long-time grudge against NASCAR which he uses every opportunity to blame for all the ills of the sport. He never happens to mention that maybe the declining ratings might have something to do with TNT's and ESPN's not doing a good job. I believe ratings were up this year across the board for FOX - then along came TNT. If the racing product is so bad why is Direct Pass still a success? Maybe because real fans find fault with the way TNT and ESPN handle coverage of NASCAR?

Toyoto does not represent me or my family. They have tried to buy several types of sports but when they take over I leave. There are too many good choises. Why not try broadcasting in Japanise to see if that helps. I also do not like th car of tommorow. Let the teams sort out the cars and honor the USA.

Cancel the CTS? Does Chevy, Dodge, Ford and Toyota sell anything remotely like the COT? Nope. So do we cancel the Cup Series? At least the trucks still look like trucks. I don't know what the Cup guys are racing. Plus, the CTS is the best RACING of all right now and has been for years.
