Jr. Drifts Down Whisky River
by Robyn Snell ~ April 17th, 2008 @ 5:59 am. Filed under: Robyn Reacts!. 1,525 readsWhisky River has been a dream of Dale Jr.’s and long time friend J.R. Rhodes. These two had discussions about opening a bar one day and at long last Jr. has turned this dream into a reality.
The wait is about over fans. Dale Jr’s Whisky River has scheduled its Grand Opening weekend for April 18 and 19, 2008.
Whisky River in the Epicenter
210 East Trade Street
Suite A-208
Charlotte, NC
Not to be confused with Dale Jr’s personal Whisky River
According to Bob Durkin of Bar Management Group, Dale Jr. had all of the input into exactly how his Whisky River would be. From a mechanical bull that is encompassed with a circular bar to his favorite color orange throughout. Who would figure Jr.’s favorite color was orange?
Jr.’s next dream is to have the Foo Fighters perform on his Whisky River stage that is 1,200 sq ft. with the dance floor being 1600 square feet. Good size for a Jr. Party I would say!
As with anything that Dale Jr. sets out to do the rumors are floating galore. From Whisky River being an invitation only club to open to the public. Why would Dale Jr. build a bar and have it invitation only? The private grand opening was held for his closest of friends and colleges but after that it will be open to the public.
The Charlotte NASCAR Hall of Fame will be constructed a short distance from Whisky River so when race fans visit the Hall of Fame they can visit Whisky River.
Congratulations Jr. for making a dream of yours come true.

Jr’s new club is said to be named after Willie Nelson’s song. Problem is that’s not Willie’s song he only covered it,it was written & originally recorded by Willie’s long time friend Johnny Bush

Dear “Informed Person”… How ’bout you go back and review the concepts of TACT or KINDNESS or COURTESY?
