Aaron Fike admits to heroin use? What? Now, that news got my attention. NASCAR has come so far so fast with so many issues, why in the world are they not instituting a drug testing policy? That would be like an airline “condoning” a drunk pilot to take off with a plane full of passengers. Will it take a death to get NASCAR attention? Probably.
The established drivers like Harvick, Jr, Stewart, Martin, and such should have to go under go at least random testing and all the newbies should be mandated at any given time at any given place to under go drug tests.
Come on NASCAR, please do not wait until we suffer another loss before you implement a drug testing policy!
Kudos to Harvick and Bob Vandergriff Jr for exploring the idea of a drag racing team! I am available for hire
Kyle Busch is leading the Truck series in points…and knocking on the door to be 1st in points in Cup…
Kurt Busch ~ Where are you?
Tony Stewart ~ In my opinion Tony appears to be riding around in circles this season. Come on Smoke…get fired up!
Dale JR and his Nation appear to becoming cohesive…AMP should be a proud sponsor as everything is progressing nicely this season!
Truex 14th in points, Martin 27th and Menard 22nd. Works still needs to be accomplished at ol’ DEI
Denny Hamlin ~ has come out this season with his sights focused. Keep going Denny…I like it when you are in Victory Lane!
Kasey Kahne ~ The “hip hop” commercial is corny but nice try Kasey…Maybe Ms Terri could provide some lessons for you…Dance that is….
Reed Sorenson…I am afraid that if Reed does not step up his performance he will be looking for another ride. I know Reed has the potential, this team just needs to get it “synched up” and land in Victory lane.
Carl Edwards ~ AFLAC is proving to be an excellent sponsor for this team. The marketing department for AFLAC has produced some of the best, most innovative commercials this season. My favorite is the the commercial where the duck feathers are flying all over victory lane and the duck is pictured with Edwards helmet on…Good one….
Boris Said ~ Boris and the “Said Heads” are gearing up for the Corona Mexico 200 this up coming weekend. “Said Heads” plus “Corona 200″ plus “No Fear” equal a few good headlines for the Monday morning water cooler.
David Ragan ~ Impressive
Michael Waltrip and Ken Schrader ~ These two just need to pilot their own TV show…then the fans would watch poor lighting and all. If these 2 were just left alone to banter about NASCAR, we the fans would probably know more about the behind the scenes of NASCAR.
Chase Miller ~ Look out NASCAR here comes a young gun that will set new records…
Congrats to Travis Kittleson (www.traviskittleson.com) for being 4th in the Southern Division of the Hooters Pro Cup Series! Knew you could do it! Just remember to keep that pedal down and make smart choices!
Fox coverage ~ OK so like any other NASCAR fans, I turned to Fox expecting the see the Countdown to Green and what did I see…Baseball? What happened to the days of coverage where all other shows were not as important as NASCAR. Man what is the world coming to? NASCAR needs to invest in its own cable channel with 24/7 non stop coverage of NASCAR and to heck with the other broadcast channels!
Until Next Time….

ROFL!! Ms. Robyn, although I’d be more than happy to help Kasey with his dance moves, I’m not sure they’d get any better!!
On a serious note, I agree 100% on the random drug testing.
Good points as usual
[...] The Corona 200 takes place in Mexico City, Mexico at the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez. Coverage will be aired on ESPN this Sunday starting at 1:30 with the green flag dropping at 2:00. ‘“Said Heads” plus “Corona 200? plus “No Fear” equal a few good headlines for the Monday morning water cooler.’ MotorsportsNews.net [...]
All good stuff although I think DEI is actually running better than they show in points.
Your last paragraph….yes.. I have been shouting to the roof tops that NASCAR needs it’s own cable station to broadcast races. Saturday night and the ball game bout put me over the edge…well…actually it did…I fired off a nasty gram to FOX during that extra time they gave me. The commercials are way too much.. and I certainly understand it costs money to air the races. But when major things are happening..during that once again commercial vacation ?? Thank goodness I have Pit Command !!Then hey….how about a Pay per view races ??Commercial free… all event coverage ??It would not have to be insanely priced…Lord knows we fans pay a whole lot to just attend a race !Is a PPV season package a possibility ?? And don’t get greedy..offer it thru ALL television media providers. When I miss the invocation, National Anthem, and Start your engines….I’m not very happy ! A PPV would be like being at the track !!! Now…..how to get the smell of the fuel and tires in there !!???
Robyn,
It has been a century, at least, since I have heard from you!! Miss Florida?? I used to go by DE3FAN and when Junior crossed to the other side, I switched and changed to MT1FAN
