		<description>Blake, I do apologize and I know that it is 600 miles and not 600 laps.  A huge mistake I made when writing the commentary and even though I proofread it many times and had someone else also doing the same for me, it was not caught.

I&#039;ve been a fan for many years myself, at least 35 years and I knew better. I&#039;ve worked in the racing business at a track or doing work for another friend who is a professional in NC for many years.  My mistake and I do know the difference between laps and miles.

Thank you for bringing this mistake to my attention.  I did not realize what I had done until you took time to do so.</description>

Those of us who have been fans for over 40 years know the &quot;Coca-Cola 600&quot; has always been 600 MILES not 600 LAPS!!</description>
