Bonfire! Sick As A Dog |
For me as a fantasy geek, that’s not what I want to see as I love it when a car wrecked goes straight into the shed (pending he isn’t on my team). Bristol didn’t really send anyone home early and that kept gloating on my behalf to a minimum. The other reason I couldn’t get a gloat out of my system was my brilliant move to pick up Vickers. Yea, those 46 points Special V got me catapulted me right up the ladder. If that ladder had only one rung, then I would have been ok, but with 20 of them I barely made it out of last for the week.
I wasn’t the only one who jumped on the Red Bull bandwagon. My sister Lori and Craig made a whopping nine points on their move to drop Mears for Vickers.
That should make the secret BONFIRE fan, which wrote a few things in the comment section the last few weeks, happy. Doesn’t take much to make that fella happy does it? Then again dogs seem to be happier after their progress as well (see the last sentence in paragraph 2 for you slow thinkers).
The most costly move of the race wasn’t Harvick “UN”intentionally dumping Tony, but one that cost one of our rookies a few dog bones and some pride. David dropped Montoya for one of the available Mears. He lost not only 81 points, but also ended up getting last by three points. That shrewd move kept the two-timer champ (Darryl) from his second last in three weeks. Darryl’s abysmal 19th place showing took him to a place where no one wants to be. The wrath of Lon is about to take form as Darryl is now in the doghouse.
Well folks, that’s all I have for the week. Though I’d like to say something about Aaron taking over first, maybe updated news on the whereabouts of CCB (Cracked Crystal Ball), or even pony-tailed boy finishing better than 30th. I wouldn’t even mind mentioning something about my Mother’s rise in the standings to 14th with Mikey pulling the team, or saying something about Bob who just needs his name mentioned once in a while.
But I am sick with the flu and not quite myself this week. That could be a good thing for you, as I will tell you to put another log on the fire and boil me up another pot of tea (now that is part of a country song, unlike last week’s article). Though I’d rather have a pot of gold since it was St. Patty’s Day and a person just shouldn’t be sick on his birthday. So someone else please keep the fire burning, I’m going to curl up on my rug.

Nascar is a joke and Tony is the biggest joker. Gave up nascar and watch DIRT TRACKERS.

I agree with Lonnie, the race was a bit (ho hum) but, since Craig has been in Bonfire he gets real nervous when drivers start wrecking. (We all know that Craig likes to finish 1st all the time). It is all about driver saftey in todays’ NASCAR. I think Martinsville will be a crash fest so Lonnie will have his birthday wish one week late. (Just like the card I sent him!) Actually I forgot to send his card, sorry Lon, HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY!! I hope you start to feel better, look forward to next weeks article.
