Young Racers of America, Inc., is announcing their fourth annual “Golf Tournament” to be held on May 22, 2008, at Tour 18 in Flower Mound, Texas.

Young Racers of America, Inc., a non-profit organization, assists young racers in continuing their goal to compete in the ever-growing racing industry.
This event is part of Young Racers of America, Inc.’s on-going effort to create awareness for young racers and build a support system for youth drivers.
“We are all aware of the financial burden that is placed on families for many of our young racers”, states Gayla Lutyk, President and Founder of Young Racers of America, Inc. “We’ve created an organization to tackle this problem head-on with the generous help of many of our corporate sponsors and volunteers.”
Each driver receiving assistance in our program will be required to qualify and participate in their designated sport (I.e., Go-cart, Bandoleros, Champ car, etc.) under the guidelines of that industry’s rules and regulations.
“Our goal is to build an enrichment program which will consist of community service, public appearances, (I.e.. children’s hospital, Chamber of Commerce events and public schools); preparatory classes on media interviews; how to speak to corporate sponsors as well as how to represent your corporate sponsor; education on drug and alcohol awareness along with health and well-being” states Cyndi Coker.
